How does one obtain b2b sales and marketing certification?

I would like to enter the field of b2b sales and marketing, but I need advice on how to go about preparing, training, and receiving certification in b2b. Any relevant advice or comment is appreciated.

    No certification is required. Unfortunately, most sales orgs hire based on previous experience (see salesguy.org for a list of top hiring criteria by sales orgs) but if you are diligent you will find someone who will give you a shot. Sellingpower.com publishes a list of sales companies with good training programs and I would start there as well as peruse salesguy.org for sales requirements.
