The content (the content could be files of any type for example – Flash/DOC/XLS/Power point/AVI/Mp3/CAD CAM) will be at the server and this needs to be accessed over the internet by students. Is there any browser in the market opensource or propreitory that disables the following options like 1.cut 2.copy 3.print 4.printscreen 5.screencapture tools. As the content uploaded is very sensitive and needs to be under maximum security it should also be immune to forthcoming new tools. That means there should ideally be patches being sent to update any new tool developed on a later date.

I have a new Toshiba laptop which I got for Christmas and would like to establish what would be a wiser option – to get a top Internet Security suite for my laptop or 3 stand-alone programs, an Anti-Virus, an Anti-Spyware and a Personal Firewall program?

Money is no object, because I can quite easily ***** any of the available programs in the market so don’t limit your suggestions just to the free ones!

What is the best all-round Internet Security Suite:

ESET Smart Security, Kaspersky Internet Security 2009, McAfee Internet Security 2009, Norton Internet Security, or PC Tools Internet Security 2009?

If you recommend stand-alone programs, recommend 3 of the best of their respective kinds please!!

I usually use Norton 360 for 3pcs, but my sub is expired now. I am in the market for a new anti virus program. I am not so found of the free versions out there so am wanting to bu a complete All in one essentials. Norton slows down my PCs so I am trying to give another one a try. Am torn in betwen Avast Internet Security ($59: 3pcs, 1yr sub) Webroot Internet Security ($59: 3pcs, 1yrs sub) Kapersky ($79: 3pcs, 1yr sub) i have been hearing about Avira also but not so sure. I just want the best one as i have had issue with virus and spyware in the past.

I have System Mechanic Professionas 7 and when it scans my computer it says I have 2 security problems. It is the two verizon class 3 public primary in my internet tools-content=Publisher. Can I delete these without screwing up my computer. System mech. says it cannot fix these two security problems and it puts my computer a risk due to the fact that verizon can use the active x and that is not good for my security.

Here’s the deal. I have Norton Systemworks Basic 2006 on my system. I also later purchased Norton Internet Security. When updating my Systemworks to Antivirus 2007, loading it required that I uninstall Internet Security. After loading Antivirus 2007 I tried re-installing Internet Security. Got the same message; to load, need to uninstall other product. Trying to get help from Norton seems impossible.
Three questions:
1. Can anyone verify that having Norton Internet Security is a waste–in terms of adding protection–if you already have Norton Antivirus?
2. If not, anyone have a means to get around this catch 22 of needing to uninstall one security product to load the other?
3. Anyone know how to hold Norton accountable for a simple question?
